Weddings & Events at The Inn
Imagine our picturesque location on a beautiful Lake Superior beach with the sunset framing your special event, and sailboats gliding by in the distance.
The Pub Restaurant and The Light Keeper’s Lodge offer everyone a view of Lake Superior, the largest freshwater lake in the world. The culinary abilities of The Pub’s staff feature a wide variety of regional specialties, barbecue and gourmet.
At the Inn, we give you everything you need to create a celebration that is uniquely your own. With a special event designed exclusively for you, by you, you can dare to be bold or walk a more traditional path to make the most important events of your life memorable. Invite everyone you know or just your nearest and dearest.

The Details

A Deposit is required (and nonrefundable) at time of booking to guarantee your date.
*Depending on size and accommodations needs, additional rental fees may apply.

Deposits are due at time of booking to hold dates.
All additional payments are due on or before the date of the event.

It is recommended with larger weddings/events that the whole Light Keeper’s lodge be booked.

Final menu selections must be received 45 days prior to the event.
Final guest count (guarantee) must be received 45 days in advance.
Charges are based on guarantee unless attendees exceed the number.
If no final guarantee is received, then the charges will be based on original counts unless higher.
Menu prices do not include tax or gratuity.

The Wisconsin State Liquor commission regulates the sale and service of alcoholic beverages.
The Inn, as licensee, is responsible for the administration of these regulations.
It is The Inn’s policy that all alcoholic beverages are provided by the Inn and served by The Inn’s bartenders. No outside liquor is permitted throughout any event.
Gratuity for alcoholic beverage service is 22%.

Music is not provided by The Inn.
Per Town of La Pointe noise ordinance, music needs to stop by 11:00pm.
Event Spaces
The Light Keeper’s Lodge Great Room
The Great Room is our private banquet room. Its first-floor location has French doors opening to the terrace, lawn and lake. The Great Room features a large gas fireplace and a flat screen plasma TV. There are also microphones, a DVD player and internet available for use. There is a separate kitchenette adjacent to the Great Room.
The Great room can accommodate parties of 75 people comfortably.
$2250.00 for 10 hours.
The Pub Restaurant & Wine Bar
The Pub Restaurant is right next to the Light Keeper’s Lodge on Lake Superior.
This is the perfect spot for your guests to have a delicious meal while taking in the breathtaking views of Lake Superior. The entrance to the Madeline Island Yacht Club harbor is to the left, so you can enjoy watching the many boats arriving and leaving the marina.
Comfortable tables in the main dining room can seat groups of 30–70 people.
The Atrium
Private dining experience in The Pub Restaurant. Will accommodate up to 25 guests.
$500.00 for 5 hours until 10pm.
Parties of 25 or more must use the Lightkeepers Lodge Great Room for all activities in event.
The Pub and Light Keeper’s Lodge Lawn
The lawn is also a great outdoor space for weddings, receptions and other events.

Lodging in the Light Keepers Lodge
The Light Keeper’s Lodge is located on the beach on Lake Superior, with views of the Madeline Island Yacht Club entrance and much more.
There are six deluxe hotel suites, two standard hotel rooms and a large event space for up to 75 guests. The hotel is beautifully nautically decorated. Count and menu choice must be received 14 days in advance.

All Entrees include a caesar salad, artisan bread & butter, chefs dessert and beverage choice of one non-alcoholic beverage.
Broiled Lake Superior Trout or White Fish (When in season) served with smashed red potatoes and vegetable.
Pork Roast served with smashed red potatoes and vegetable.
Herbed Marinated Chicken served with smashed red potatoes and vegetable.
